Giraffes have no vocal chords.

“Oh no!” cried Michelle to Winston, her best friend, “There’s another wedding ‘I am cordially invited’ to.”
“Dang, meaning I have to go too?” Winston complained.
Michelle nodded as she thanked him.
To Michelle, everybody seemed to be moving on with their lives, but her. She was the only one among her friends and sisters who couldn’t find her prince charming. The only one who was really only there for her was, Winston. He chronically tagged along to events like weddings or family parties. It made her feel less lonely and very thankful she had a friend like him.
“When’s this wedding?”Winston asked.
“It says that it’ll be next Friday,” Michelle replied.
After days had passed, the wedding had finally come. When she had entered the church, there were some amicable faces she could see. Faces that she had lost contact to 5 years ago or so. It was a nice little reunion for them. The same questions of “Is that your boyfriend?” or “Are you married yet?” was constantly tossed in conversation.

After vows were said and rings were given, it was time to leave for the wedding reception. Time for people to finally enjoy themselves.
As they entered the party, there was a tumultuous group of people who were already there. Music filled the air and the room was dark. They started the whole wedding with a cocktail hour.
Winston, like a gentleman, got both Michelle and himself a drink.
“Don’t drink too much. You know what happened last time,” Winston said admonishingly.
The last wedding, Winston had to carry Michelle all the way to the car. She was found prostrated on the floor behind the bar, drunk and lethargic. Luckily for her, Winston had found her first before anyone else had.
“I won’t this time,” she said indiscriminately.
The bride and groom had finally entered the room. Time for their toasts.
“Thank you everyone for coming to such an important event”
